In May, 2007, authorities in Petersburg, Virginia recovered the partial remains of a woman who had died about 3 years earlier. Five years later, more remains were recovered about 2 miles from the original location, and DNA testing confirmed they belonged to the same woman. The African American woman was between 20-39 years old and stood about 5’5” tall.
